PleasantHub.com is a new social media community launched live on January 1, 2025 dedicated to adults "who've lived a little" to connect with other folks of a certain age (55+) and contribute in a pleasant community for both online and local connection opportunities.

Members post about life, nostalgia, things they've done in life and fun things they’re doing now and cool things they plan on doing soon! Options include social media style posting in the Main Activity Feed, joining and posting in Special Interest Groups, publishing long form Articles, asking Community Questions and creating Polls and more.

not a dating site, it's a platform to provide connection and community for 55+ adults. It's no secret that our friends become fewer as we age. Senior loneliness is real and an epidemic in our country. Pleasant Hub is an online community specifically designed to help 55+ folks "stay connected" with other seniors.

No Politics • No Hate • No Violence
There is no more divisive and enraging subject than politics. It has infected just about every segment of society. As such, Pleasant Hub does not allow any politics or political references, violence or hate on the platform and insists to always post & comment with much respect for other members.
No Algorithm
Pleasant Hub does not utilize an Algorithm to force feed content at you. Instead, we allow you to control your default activity feed to viewing All-Updates in chronological order, your own Filtered Feed where you select the topic categories you wish to see in this feed, Friends-only so you can develop a circle of friends with similar posting styles, or a Followed Feed where you view posts by other members you follow on the platform.
